'Deeper and darker the daily Dubstep goes, the man who likes to keep things a little swampish; those tracks with a muggy bass line that seem to make the atmospherics of a room turn to molasses thick and heavy, it’s the hero of the half step scene… We all know just how clinical DJ Youngsta is, rolling out on three decks when available teasing us with subtle rifts and bass notes, feeding us sound bites that we recognise, but only ever allowing a nibble. In all honesty it was one of the best set’s I’ve heard Youngsta play. His set featured tracks by artist such as Vivek and Jay Kenzo as well as golden oldies by Loefah such as the Goat Stare (the one with the American Psycho sample), a classic among dubheadzs, and Midnight request line by Skream. It was a fusion of old and new, however there was an element of that conga sound; that Hatcha was notoriously known for back in 05 underlying the rhythmic sub driven tracks that featured heavily in his performance.' - by Grand, Big City Nights.
