ROKLEM & SEBALO join the Wheel & Deal family with their debut EP ‘Essential’ available on limited lathe cut and all good digital stores. ROKLEM & SEBALO from Cologne, Germany have both been producing Bass Music for 10 years, working as a duo since 2016. ROKLEM‘S sound leans toward the heavier side of the 140 spectrum while SEBALO’S productions are rooted in the Dubbier side of the sound. ROKLEM & SEBALO have had a consistent output since 2017 and have released on labels such as DEEP, DARK & DANGEROUS, FAT KID ON FIRE, SILENT MOTION and DIRTY BEATS. They receive constant support by artists like N-TYPE, TERNION SOUND, TRUTH, DISTINCT MOTIVE, ENIGMA DUBZ and CASPA to name a few, they are definitely one to watch in the coming years. ‘ESSENTIAL’ is the lead track and sets the pace with bubbling Dub Reggae Skank and swinging groove. A great track to kick off your DJ Set and set the positive vibes. The bass drops heavy and bubbling, filtering up and down the frequency spectrum, giving the track a pulsing feel and good for the dance floor, one for the steppers! ‘DREAMS’ does what it says on the tin, a deep dreamy arpeggiator takes precedence and guides the track on a ‘techy’ journey. A Thunderous Sub and 808’s storm the track, rumbling the ribs whilst a distorted, Haunting mid range bass with eerie reverb tail gives the sense of dread. The Vocal sample comes in the breakdown setting the atmosphere for the ‘techy’ roll out on the second drop. This is a sick roller and suits both dance floor and zoning out at an afters. ‘KICK IT BACK’ is the last track of the EP and once again carries ROKLEM & SABALO’S Signature bubbling vibe. This Track draws influence from the original deep Dubstep sound, reminiscent of artists like KROMESTAR. This will do damage in the dance and on radio. We welcome them to the family.
