Netherlands Producer RAMSEZ finally joins the Wheel & Deal camp with a massive 4 track EP and limited 10” Dubplate cut. RAMSEZ production quality has seen him gain releases on lables such as DEEP DARK & DANGEROUS, SOUTHSIDE DUBSTARS, ENDS and VERSION COLLECTIVE. His style is creative and emerced in sound design. He is one to watch in 2023 and beyond. RAMSEZ has had support from SUKH KNIGHT, DEEP TEMPO, DISTINCT MOTIVE, J SPARROW, TERNION SOUND, TRUTH, CHEFAL, SUBSTRADA AND 11TH HOUR. ‘JELLY BELLY’ is the lead track built for the dance floor. This one is a deep, driving, stepper with edits that feel like your falling down into the thick warm sub whilst the swagger develops, leading up to a mad bass switch up on the second drop. This has featured heavily in N-TYPE’S DJ sets and is a banger of a track. ‘DIGITAL DRIP’ is a broken half stepper with swinging percussion and Grime-esc bass line (you could see this track being laced by your favourite MC). It’s off beat swagger with the combination of ‘bass and space’, makes this track original and really stands out. This one definitely puts the DJ’s skills to test! ‘BOOMBOX’ kicks off with ‘Old Skool’ break rolls and Hardcore piano stabs then drops into a throbbing sub roller. This has an original groove to it that RAMSEZ is getting re-nound for in his music. Another example of thinking out the box that really works on and off the dance floor. ‘QUATTRO RHYTHM’ is a militant upbeat stepper with tight beats, huge reverb’s and pulsing bass line. This track develops and gets more intense as it goes along and also carries a slight TECHNO influnce. This ends the EP in fine style and Ramsez is definatly one to watch in 2023.
